The AHNC met Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. to tally votes and prepare the new CoC BOD Slate. At this meeting, it was determined that there was a tie for the 9th Member-at-Large Seat. To clarify, the 9 M@L seats were determined by the AHNC according to the number of votes each candidate received. The 9 persons with the top number of votes are listed as the 9 new Members-at-Large. As stated, there was a tie in the 9th M@L seat. With this, the AHNC determined that an election run-off would have to be held in order to declare a winner for the 9th Member-at-Large seat. The AHNC does declare that the following are winners of said seat: Chairperson – Jacqueline Evans; Vice-Chairperson: Tiffany Johnson; Member-at-Large (in alphabetical order): Ida Baker, Karen Bowens, Toyia Burgess, Kenneth Hartley, Robin Henry, Rev. Robert James, Semone Pemberton, Crystal Williams.

The CoC BOD Run-off election will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 beginning at 9:00 a.m. and closing at 5:00 p.m. All members that were eligible to vote in Tuesday, October 20, 2020 election will be eligible to vote in this run-off election.

The Ad Hoc Nominating Committee would like to present the CoC Board of Directors slate of candidates for the upcoming election. You will find the names listed below in alphabetical order on the slate under each Seat Available.


Cumberland County Continuum of Care (CoC) on Homelessness is governed by the Board of Directors.  The Board is responsible for overseeing the progress of the CoC’s mission.  The Board of Directors collaborates with other local, state, and federal entities to accomplish the CoC’s mission of addressing the needs of the homeless in our community.
