The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released the 2019 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Continuum of Care Program on July 3, 2019. The FY 2019 NOFA is available at https://www.hudexchange.info/resource/5842/fy-2019-coc-program-nofa/.
Continuum of Care (CoC) collaborative applications must be submitted to HUD no later than September 30, 2019, 7:59:59 p.m. eastern time.
The HUD NOFA sets up the procedure by which a CoC, through its designee, submits a single collaborative application to fund the CoC and eligible projects that advance the CoC goals. The designee, or “Collaborative Applicant,” for the Fayetteville/Cumberland County Continuum of Care (CoC) on Homelessness is Cumberland County, North Carolina (through its Community Development Department).
The consolidated application that will be submitted by Cumberland County Community Development (CCCD) for the FY 2019 CoC Program grant competition will include eligible new projects and renewal projects from prior competitions. The CoC is seeking proposals from local providers of services and housing for new standard renewal projects.
Project applications must be submitted in HUD’s electronic grant application system e-snaps no later than 11:59:59 p.m., August 23, 2019, eastern time. CCCD will provide applicants acccess to e-snaps and technical assistance on how to use submit project applications using esnaps.
